A Dimetrodon is an animal mob that may appear in-game when Hytale is released. Dimetrodons are believed to spawn in the Forgotten Jungle (Level 4), the deepest level of the Devastated Lands.
Behavior
Unlike other carnivores found on the lower levels, the concept art of the creature shows lacks any known or noticeable Bio-luminescent traits. This suggests it has a different strategy towards hunting, perhaps hunting aquatic creatures in the Subterranean Jungle’ rivers and lakes (this would align with information gathered on the real-life Dimetrodon).
