The Orbis Sun is a Celestial Body that can be seen in the Orbis sky. It is responsible for the brightness of the day portion of the Day/Night Cycle that appears in the world.
Overview
It can be assumed that it mirrors our own sun in it’s appearance and properties. The duration of day cycle in Orbis is currently unknown.
Through the use of Cascading Shadow maps, as mentioned in the 2019 Hytale Graphics update Blog Post, the sun will project real-time shadows of the player and the environment.
