An Outlander Ranger is one of the archetypes of the Outlander race in Hytale.
Overview
Rangers are responsible for the gathering of food and the protection of Outlander settlements. They wear simple leather clothing, including a mask with small protruding horns, similar to the Bison that they hunt. They also drape themselves in black, fur-like robes.
Behavior
These Outlanders can be seen as a dangerous threat, thanks to both their long range bows and hiding techniques. While wandering through the forests of Zone 2, a Player could be ambushed and quickly taken out, without fully realizing their attacker’s location.
Interactions
The Ranger will hunt Bison to provide nourishment for the Outlander tribe, using their long range bows to take the beasts out quickly.
